Your UTV is booked. Here's what to bring to our shop on Vendor Row and what happens when you get there, so pickup goes quickly and you get on the sand sooner.
Where to find us
Vendor Row is the row of shops and food vendors at Glamis where riders pick up machines and grab last-minute supplies. Our shop is at 5775 E Hwy 78, Brawley, CA 92227, next to the Glamis Beach Store. Every UTV is picked up and returned here. We don't deliver UTVs.
It gets busy on weekends and holidays, so a little prep before you arrive makes a big difference.
What to bring
Documents and payment
- Physical driver's license for the primary renter (the only driver, 25 or older)
- Booking confirmation (digital or printed)
- Physical credit or debit card in the renter's name that matches their ID, for the security hold (credit works best). Cash holds only with a manager's OK, so call us first.
- A signed vQuip waiver for every rider: no signed waiver, no ride. After your deposit, vQuip emails the primary renter a "Register Now" link to forward to riders (check spam). Riders can also sign at the counter.
Make room for the security hold
Every UTV rental has a security hold, placed the morning of pickup. It is a hold, not a charge: $2,500 per Commander or X3 DS / MAX DS, and $3,500 per X3 RS (any), RS RR, XRS or any Maverick R. Make sure your card has enough available credit (or funds, on a debit card) before you arrive. If the hold won't go through, pickup waits until it does.
What to bring for your ride
- Goggles (helmets are included, one per rider; goggles are for sale at the shop)
- Water
- Gloves and long sleeves
- Face covering for sand and wind

How pickup works
Step 1. Check in
Give us your booking details and your license. We scan your ID and card. Your booking, rental agreement, driver's license and card all need to show the same name.
Step 2. Read the rental agreement
The agreement covers the rules, the return and who pays for damage. Read it before you sign, and ask about anything that isn't clear.
Step 3. Balance and security hold
Your remaining balance is charged to the card on file the morning of pickup, and the security hold goes on your card. We release the hold the same day the unit comes back clean. Your bank can take up to 7 days to show it, and longer on a debit card.
Step 4. Walk around the machine
Before you leave, we walk around the machine with you. Point out any damage you see so it's noted, and make sure everything works.
Step 5. Helmets and gear
We hand out helmets, one per rider, and go over sizes. Every machine leaves with the whip flag installed and a current plate, registration and OHV sticker.
When to arrive
Arrive early on weekends
Weekend mornings get busy fast. Getting here early means less waiting and more time on the sand.
Plan for holiday crowds
On the big holiday weekends, Vendor Row is packed. Give yourself extra time for check-in and paperwork. Our Glamis events calendar shows which weekends draw the biggest crowds.
Common pickup mistakes
- Arriving late and rushing the process
- Forgetting the license or the card for the hold
- Not checking the machine before you leave
- Not leaving room on the card for the security hold
- Not asking about the return
Make pickup faster
- Have every rider sign the vQuip waiver online before you arrive
- Check your booking details the day before
- Keep your license, card and confirmation together
- Leave extra time on busy weekends
